15 of 52: Magic Kingdom Express

We are not having "fall" weather yet - but we are experiencing some of the other perks of the season. Short lines at theme parks! Yaaa!
We are trying to take advantage of this time and go to one of the parks each week. If we plan it right, we can get there after school and still stick to a semi-reasonable bedtime. The kids think it's a great way to end a school day (obviously)...so do we, we just have to keep telling them that this lifestyle is not the 'norm'...
Great thing is, the last two times we were at Magic Kingdom, we were able to ride 7 rides in 2 hours...can't beat that!
I'm loving that all the parks are decorated for fall....that means Christmas decorations are just around the corner!

In our family, being tall enough to ride "Splash Mountain" is a Rite of Passage. Samantha finally made it!

It was so bright, I almost didn't get the shot...but if you look closely you can see them...they have their hands up...even Sammie!

A little wet after that...but worth it!

52 Weeks is a year long challenge for YOU to be in a picture once a week for 52 weeks. Moms are typically the ones behind the camera, this is OUR chance to get out in front and be in the pictures with our family.

So, get yourself in the picture every week for 52 Weeks. Be in a picture with one or more or your children and post your "family photo" on your blog every Thursday - don't forget to list your post on MckLinky on Carin's blog

What a sweet picture of you with your 3 girls(love the matching dresses) probably helped to keep track of them while you were at the park. Cute pictures.

You all look soooo good! Wish we could go to the parks with you. And what about that Wordless Wednesday? Where were you and why wasn't I there with you? :(

I can't wait to take the family to WDW. Love the Splash Mountain pics - that's one of my favorite rides too.

I didn't realize you all lived near Disney. We Love Disney. We only make it there once every other year or so. I think we are going to try for a visit in the Spring to celebrate KK's 18th birthday and hubby's 40th. We usually go in September. No lines and slightly cooler weather. I can't stand the awful humidity there. Nice pictures of the family. The year that each child gets to ride sm for the first time is always a big deal around our family, too. I had quite an experience on there... too much to write now but maybe I will post about it sometime.

We do vacation at Tybee for several weeks every fall. How did you know that? We don't advertise it. We love that it is so isolated and uninhabited. We have a private beach when we go in September. Of course the weather is PERFECT that time of year and the water is still so warm! It is my favorite place. Our family will save nickles and do without any extras all year long just so we can go for vacation. My Elisabeth was almost named Tybrisa after the first hotel that was erected there. We spent our vacation the year I was pregnant with her trying to chose a name. I don't remember whose idea it was but I remember that we decided it sounded a little too "ethnic" for our little blond hair and blue eyed girl:)

I am super jealous that you can pop into the parks once a week after school. That is a great way to end a school day.
