Wow. The days have been flying by! Two weeks ago I was still in the hospital after the birth of our baby girl. It seems like ages ago! Carissa Joy was born almost 5 weeks early....and isn't she cute?
We have spent the past two weeks caring for a newborn and our other three girls and continuing to unpack boxes while I recover from my c-section. We've been tired, but loving it! Fortunately, my in-laws adjusted their dates and came to Florida for a week to help out and then my brother and sister-in-law were able to come for a few days this week. Having additional hands has been a Godsend, especially this week when my husband had to get back to work.
I neglected to post pictures of the "birth day", so before I get into the "fun" pictures, here they are!

4am: Just waiting for my doctor....getting tired since we had been at the hospital since 1:30!
6am: On our way to surgery
Welcome Baby Carissa!
With each baby we have, it seems difficult to imagine how we could possibly love another child as much as we love the others.
How could our hearts be capable of even more love?
Yet, once again we are hopelessly in love with our sweet baby girl and are blessed beyond belief with how amazing she is!

52 Weeks is a year long challenge for YOU to be in a picture once a week for 52 weeks. Moms are typically the ones behind the camera, this is OUR chance to get out in front and be in the pictures with our family.

Congrats - beautiful baby! and the entire family! Take time for a nap...
Oh she is absolutely beautiful. And how can you look so beautiful during/after surgery, some things aren't fair. Congratulations on your beautiful little girl!
Oh, congratulations! I do remember those feelings of "will I have enough love?" It is magical to discover that your heart is like the Grinch's - it expands with each one. Your baby girl is gorgeous and you look so happy in all the pictures. Enjoy your four girls...what blessings.
Congratulations! You all look fantastic on birth day. I hope everyone is settling into a routine and I'm sure her big sisters are being very helpful.
Oh she is beautiful! This post sure hit home because we are due to have baby boy #3 on the last day of March. I have a csection scheduled due to the fact that I had to have the other two by csection too. My thoughts are with you right now.
Oh Kristin, What a beautiful serene feeling I get when I look at these pictures. You look amazing!!!!! I'm so happy for you and so proud of you and Chuckie. You are a very special couple who just make everything work out. Come work your magic here, please... we need a visit. March has to work. Love and miss you.
Such precious pictures. New baby girl is so sweet and I have to say that you look fabulous in these pictures! Take Care!
Such a precious baby girl! She is just as beautiful as your older girls and I'm sure she is just as loved too:) I remember, all too well, that fear of wondering if your heart is big enough to hold all of the love you need to give to your children. I quickly discovered that, as each child is born, your heart expands to provide all the love they will ever need from you. Congratulations, again, to you on the birth of this beautiful and precious blessing! Carissa is a very blessed little lady to be gifted to a family like yours:)
She is beautiful...congratulations!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! She's gorgeous! and so are you! Oh My! Even right before and right after giving birth! AMAZING!!!
Hugs~
