I've Been Tagged!

Did you think I forgot I have a blog?
I have been so busy - but.....I think I can do this quickly and still feed my family dinner!
My lovely friend Roxy (who just happened to walk 60 miles (yes, 6-0) in DC in The 3 Day Walk for Breast Cancer Research!) tagged me a little while ago and I never got around to posting!

The rules are:
1. Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share at least 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag someone at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog
(okay so I changed the rules a little!)

Disclaimer: Some things are 'givens' - these are 'random facts'.....so the fact that I left out I love my children does not mean I don't love them :)...
Here goes:

1. I have a thing for Tabasco. Avery Island, LA is in my top 10 list of places I want to visit.

2. I‘m crazy about my coffee cups. I don’t like to share them. I have a set that I make available to guests and keep mine to myself. I am selfish that way.

3. I love the beach…..any beach…and I’ve been to many. Last summer I fell in love with a mountain beach in Yosemite next to a river – complete with white sand and a view of the waterfall. Absolutely one of our best family days.

4. My husband is my best friend – really.

5. When my husband and I started dating I had two iguanas and a cat and he did not like my hair. He still went out with me – I guess he saw potential.

6. I have a hot sauce collection with bottles from around the world. It began with a bottle of sauce I got in Israel during the 80’s (because it was pretty) I now have 26 bottles from various countries and 24 from different states in the USA.

7. I’ve moved 19 times – 15 of those times have been within this fabulous city of ours.

8. I used to thrive on a good adrenaline rush. We love to dive, I used to rock climb, I’ve been bungy jumping at least a dozen times and we have our motorcycle licenses...But these days you won’t find me jumping off of anything or doing half the things I used to. Age and kids will do that to you.

9. I have an aversion to cold water. We once spent a month at the beach and I didn’t enter the water past my calves. I seriously don’t like cold water.

10. I worked in a Mexican restaurant for nine years and ate Mexican food virtually every day. Never tired of it and it is still in my top 3 foods of choice. (of course it tastes best on the beach in Mexico)

11. If I could use my crockpot every day I would. It can be done – check out this site!

And now, I would like to tag:

Joey (and while you are here, you should check out her amazing blog-she's so talented!)
